Seeking a Manufacturing Engineer III to support and improve the production of complex electronic and electromechanical assemblies.

This is a hands-on manufacturing engineering role supporting production operations, resolving technical issues, improving processes, and helping ensure products are manufactured efficiently, consistently, and in accordance with customer and industry requirements.

The ideal candidate will have direct experience with circuit card assembly manufacturing, along with exposure to cable and wire harnesses, electromechanical assemblies, or box-build products. This individual should be comfortable working closely with production personnel, engineering, quality, purchasing, and customers to resolve issues and implement improvements.

Key responsibilities include:

• Providing technical manufacturing support for circuit card assemblies, cable and wire harnesses, and electromechanical box builds.
• Developing, improving, and maintaining manufacturing processes, routings, work instructions, and visual aids.
• Reviewing engineering drawings, specifications, bills of material, parts lists, and customer requirements.
• Supporting RFQ and proposal activities, including labor-time estimates, manufacturing feasibility, and cost considerations.
• Reviewing and supporting the implementation of engineering changes, ECOs, and ECNs.
• Participating in engineering and production kickoff meetings for new programs and product introductions.
• Troubleshooting production issues and working directly with manufacturing personnel to identify practical solutions.
• Leading or supporting root-cause investigations, corrective actions, and process improvements.
• Analyzing manufacturing data, defects, bottlenecks, and performance metrics to identify improvement opportunities.
• Collaborating with engineering, quality, purchasing, operations, and customers to resolve technical and production-related issues.
• Supporting continuous-improvement initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, 5S, and other process-improvement methods.
• Developing and maintaining operating procedures, manufacturing documentation, and process-control methods.
• Assisting with supplier-related technical issues and purchasing specifications.
• Supporting the introduction of new equipment, processes, and manufacturing capabilities.
• Ensuring manufacturing processes are practical, repeatable, and aligned with applicable customer and industry standards.
