Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Interventional Radiology Technologist Discipline: Allied Health Professional Start Date: 03/23/2026 Duration: 13 weeks Hours per week: 40 Shift: 10 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Location: Rochester, New York Schedule: 4x10 hour shifts, days; weekends, holidays, on call/callback per unit needs. Call 1-2 times a week and 1-2 weekends of call per month. Job Description The Interventional Radiology Radiologic Technologist will be responsible for producing high-quality radiologic images while demonstrating competence in selecting exposure factors and positioning patients. The ideal candidate should have experience in interventional radiology, preferably in neurosurgery or neuroscience. Responsibilities Administer oral contrast as needed per exam. Instruct and prepare patients for radiographic/fluoroscopic examinations. Assist Radiologist during procedures. Demonstrate proficiency in operating all x-ray equipment, CR, and DR systems. Report equipment malfunctions to the manager or lead. Complete all assigned procedures in a timely manner, utilizing downtime effectively. Maintain medication security to authorized personnel only. Provide healthcare services competently across all age groups. Display professional interpersonal skills with patients and staff. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure BLS Certification (American Heart Association ONLY) Minimum of two years of experience as a Radiologic Technologist. Licensure in the state of New York. Experience in Neurosurgery/Neuroscience. ARRT Certification required; VIR certification preferred.
