AmeriStaff, Inc. is currently seeking an experienced Machine Operator to fill openings with a manufacturing company located in Rocky Mount, VA. We are looking for individuals who are mechanically inclined but also comfortable working with production data and documentation.
- Full time.
- Monday-Friday.
- 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM. (occasional overtime until 5:00 PM)
- $15 per hour.
- Measure completed work pieces to verify conformance to specifications.
- Examine completed products for defects, such as chipped edges or marred surfaces and sort defective pieces according to types of flaws.
- Read work orders or production schedules to determine specifications.
- Load plastic material into machines.
- Clean and lubricate machines.
- Previous machine operator experience
- Experience working with data, spreadsheets, and Microsoft Excel
- Strong attention to detail
- Good problem-solving skills
