Step into an essential contract opportunity supporting K-12 students as an onsite physical therapist in an engaging school-based environment. This highly valued, itinerant position works across multiple local schools, delivering direct PT interventions and collaborating closely with education staff to help students achieve their learning and mobility goals. The assignment begins as soon as possible and extends through late May 2027, providing stability and the chance to develop meaningful professional relationships within the educational community.

Required Qualifications:

• Valid and active South Carolina Physical Therapy (PT) license
• Previous experience working in K-12 or pediatric settings is preferred
• Strong communication and collaborative skills with students, families, and school personnel
• Adaptability to efficiently travel between multiple school locations
• Ability to design and implement IEP-driven PT interventions

Responsibilities:

• Assess students’ functional abilities and develop individualized treatment plans
• Deliver onsite PT services that address each learner’s educational needs
• Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and families to support student progress
• Document sessions, evaluations, and maintain compliance with educational guidelines
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise to multi-disciplinary teams
• Travel between multiple sites within the district as assigned

Additional Details:

• Full-time, 37.5 hours per week (school day schedule)
• Contract runs ASAP through May 24, 2027
