Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
This per diem position is ideal for an experienced staff pharmacist with retail pharmacy expertise, available to work on select dates in mid-September. The role involves supporting a busy retail pharmacy environment using the Pioneer RX computer system, collaborating closely with one other pharmacist and a team of 5 to 7 pharmacy technicians.

Job Type: Per Diem
Schedule:
- September 14, 15, 16, 21: 9:00 AM – 7:00 PM
- September 18: 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM
Environment: Retail pharmacy
Script Volume:
- Mondays: 600 to 800 prescriptions
- Other days: 300 to 500 prescriptions
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately dispense prescriptions in a fast-paced retail setting
- Collaborate with pharmacy technician staff to ensure smooth workflow and patient safety
- Use Pioneer RX software for prescription processing and record-keeping
- Counsel patients on proper medication use and answer medication-related questions
- Monitor inventory and assist with maintaining compliance with pharmacy regulations
Qualifications:
- Valid Michigan Pharmacy license
- Proven experience working in a retail pharmacy environment
- Familiarity with Pioneer RX or similar pharmacy computer systems preferred
- Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills
