Sr. System AdministratorParsons is the premier national security and critical infrastructure solutions provider. We have unparalleled tactical-to-strategic level experience in securing the platform and operational technology of National Security Systems – a mission at the heart of our intersecting work across defense, intelligence, and critical infrastructure.Our National Security Solutions team needs a Sr. System Administrator to support our expanding portfolio of work in the Intelligence Community (IC). As a collaborative member of a small and mostly autonomous team, this position directly supports secure enclave development networks.Core Tasks:Conduct functional and connectivity testing to ensure continuing operability.Develop and document systems administration standard operating procedures.Maintain baseline system security according to organizational policies.Manage accounts, network rights, and access to systems and equipment.Plan, execute, and verify data redundancy and system recovery procedures.Install, update, and troubleshoot systems and servers.Comply with organization systems administration standard operating procedures.Implement and enforce local network usage policies and procedures.Manage system and server resources including performance, capacity, availability, serviceability, and recoverability.Monitor and maintain system and server configurations.Perform repairs on faulty system and server hardware.Troubleshoot hardware/software interface and interoperability problems.Required:Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline and 15 years' experience as a System Administrator, OR High school diploma and 20 years' experience as a System AdministratorExperience with Windows Server Administration, Active Directory, and Group PolicyFamiliarity with Linux Server AdministrationFamiliarity with VMware/ESXi, VMWare Virtual Networking, and VMware vCenterNetworking Switching and Router ManagementStorage Management (NetApp)Hardware and Operating System troubleshootingSystem hardeningSecurity Compliance Scanning (Nessus, ACAS)Understanding of project design within the scope of security (RMF) requirementsActive TS/SCI security clearance with polygraphActive DoD IAT Level II certification (e.g. CCNA-Security, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, Security+ CE, CND, SSCP)Ability to demonstrate cyber/IT related experience with attention to detail, customer service, oral and written communication, and problem solving.Security Clearance Requirement:An active Top Secret SCI w/Polygraph security clearance is required for this position.Salary Range: $148,300.00 - $266,900.00We value our employees and want our employees to take care of their overall wellbeing, which is why we offer best-in-class benefits such as medical, dental, vision, paid time off, 401(k), life insurance, flexible work schedules, and holidays to fit your busy lifestyle!Parsons is an equal opportunity employer, and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, disability, veteran status or any other protected status.
