Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for a Junior Sous Chef at Mahopac Golf and Beach Club, located in Mahopac, NY. The Junior Sous Chef will assist in managing the kitchen operations, creating high-quality culinary experiences for members and guests. Responsibilities include food preparation, supervising kitchen staff, maintaining inventory and supplies, ensuring food presentation standards, and upholding kitchen cleanliness and food safety protocols. The Junior Sous Chef will support the Head Chef in planning and executing a diverse menu for daily dining and special events. Qualifications Proficiency in food preparation, culinary techniques, and plating practices Skills in managing kitchen operations, including supervising and guiding kitchen staff Knowledge of food safety regulations, kitchen cleanliness standards, and inventory management Ability to collaborate on menu development and incorporate creativity into culinary offerings Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills Culinary certifications or relevant training is highly desirable Previous experience in a similar role is preferred A passion for food quality and delivering exceptional dining experiences is a strong asset #J-18808-Ljbffr
