As an Accounting Intern, you'll work within our Accounting team to support the month-end close and various process improvement projects. This internship is a great opportunity to gain hands‑on experience in accounting operations at a high‑growth SaaS company. Key Responsibilities Participate in month-end close activities, journal entry preparation, and reconciliations, process improvements, and the building of supporting schedules Identify and investigate data discrepancies between systems to ensure that financial information is complete and accurate Assist in accounting projects like financial statement audits and income tax filing preparation Research AI tools for that for implementation to improve and automate existing processes Who You Are Undergraduate or graduate student pursuing or recently graduated with a degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field Strong proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, lookups) and/or ERP systems (i.e., NetSuite) Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and organizational skills Eager to learn, take initiative, and work collaboratively in a fast‑paced environment. A penchant for ingenuity and efficiency -you're eager to research and uncover inefficiencies in repetitive tasks and help us pilot new, automated solutions Preferred: Previous work experience in an accounting role Compensation & Details Hourly rate: $24-$32/hour, depending on experience and education level Duration: 12 weeks, full-time Hybrid work schedule with in‑office time in our New York City location Ability to be a key contributor to the market leader in web accessibility Equal opportunities At accessiBe, we prioritize diversity.
