Scope of Position Ensure timely and accurate movement of freight and information, while providing exceptional customer service within the Import Department. Major Duties And Responsibilities Coordinate with customers to arrange international shipments and provide high-quality service. Ensure accurate and timely data entry into the operating system. Monitor and track international import shipments to ensure visibility and timeliness. Facilitate on-time delivery of freight to customers. Prepare and distribute required documentation to customers or customs brokers to support timely clearance. Ensure accurate and timely billing in accordance with company standards. Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors, including steamship lines, airlines, and trucking providers. Communicate effectively with overseas partners, ensuring prompt responses to internal and external inquiries. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree preferred; an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience will be considered. Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to listen, understand, and communicate clearly and concisely to achieve positive outcomes. Excellent organizational and prioritization skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively. Proficient computer skills. Interest in developing a career in supply chain management and logistics. Fluent in English.
