Registered Nurse - ICU

Job Description

Job Summary:

Seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to provide expert care in the ICU setting. This role involves managing critically ill patients and coordinating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal outcomes.

Responsibilities:

Assess patient conditions and develop individualized care plans tailored to critical needs.
Administer medications, treatments, and interventions following hospital protocols.
Monitor vital signs and neurological status, documenting changes accurately.
Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team members to coordinate patient care.
Educate patients and families on ICU procedures, prognosis, and post-discharge care.
Maintain compliance with all safety and infection control standards.

Qualifications:

Active Ohio RN license or valid compact state license in hand at submission.
Minimum of 18 months of recent ICU experience, preferably in a hospital setting.
Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
Demonstrated ability to recognize and respond to emergency situations.
Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
Ability to work effectively in high-pressure environments.
