Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $16.00 - $17.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

Day Time Mon 06:30 AM - 06:00 PM Fri 06:30 AM - 06:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide professional customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and utility customers while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Monitor access to the facility by greeting visitors, verifying credentials, maintaining visitor logs, and directing individuals according to established procedures.
• Answer and route incoming calls, provide general information, and communicate security-related concerns to appropriate site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
• Observe front desk and lobby activity, report unusual conditions or incidents, and respond to critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Maintain accurate records of visitor activity, deliveries, incidents, and other required front desk documentation.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess a valid New York State Security Guard License.
• Have at least one year of security-related experience.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
