Position Summary As a Dispensary Associate, you are responsible for the full front-of-house experience—from greeting guests and verifying IDs to educating, selling, and ensuring a safe, compliant environment. This is a dynamic role where you’ll move between customer service, compliance, and operational support throughout your shift. Key Responsibilities Guest Experience Greet and welcome all guests in a friendly, professional manner Provide guidance on store flow, wait times, and product offerings Create a positive, inclusive, and memorable customer experience Compliance & ID Verification Verify identification and ensure all guests meet legal requirements Follow all state cannabis regulations and store policies Maintain discretion, confidentiality, and security procedures Cannabis Education & Sales Educate customers on cannabis products including flower, edibles, vapes, and more Recommend products based on customer needs, preferences, and tolerance Stay up to date on product knowledge, promotions, and new inventory Transactions & POS Accurately process transactions using POS systems Handle cash and digital payments responsibly Follow all operational and compliance procedures Operations & Store Support Maintain clean, organized retail and entry areas Restock products and support inventory as needed Assist with maintaining a safe and compliant store environment Communicate effectively with team members and leadership Support a positive, team-oriented culture Complete required training and stay current on SOPs Qualifications Must be 21+ years of age 1–2+ years of retail or customer service experience (cannabis experience a plus) Strong communication and customer service skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Comfortable using POS systems and technology Availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays Willingness to complete required compliance training and background checks Physical Requirements Ability to stand and/or walk for extended periods (8+ hours per shift) Ability to lift and carry up to 25–50 pounds Ability to bend, stoop, reach, and perform repetitive tasks Ability to work in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment Manual dexterity to operate POS systems and handle products We offer growth opportunities into senior and leadership roles based on performance, product knowledge, and alignment with company values.
