Paranet provides enterprise level IT support for complex companies. We use state of the art tools and technology to ensure our clients’ mission critical systems can run 24/7/365 across multiple sites. We design each client’s security program to provide protection from rapidly evolving threats. Paranet is based in Dallas but serves clients nationwide.

The executive team is looking for an experienced financial professional to lead the company’s finance team and report to the company’s part-time CFO. We are centrally located just north of the Addison airport. This is an in-person opportunity and does not offer remote work.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Accounting

• Oversee all accounts, ledgers, and reporting systems.
• Build controls to ensure all costs are captured and appropriately billed to clients
• Streamline all accounting procedures using best available technology
• Ensure effective internal controls and compliance with GAAP and applicable federal, state and local regulatory laws and rules for financial and tax reporting.
• Prepare bi-weekly payroll on PEO platform
• Ownership of the monthly invoicing process
• Strong competency in Quickbooks Enterprise and Microsoft office programs

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION

• Associates or Bachelors Degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration
• The qualified candidate will preferably have 3-5 years of accounting experience
• Experience with Managed Service Providers and/or ConnectWise is a major plus

• Mature and proactive, demonstrated experience with all/most aspects of producing monthly financial statements
• Strong knowledge of A/P and A/R processes
