Medical Surgical Unit - Travel Registered Nurse- $2670 per week.

Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Experience:

• 2 years of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• 12 months of Medical Surgical Unit experience with 9 months within the last 12 months.

• 3 months of Meditech experience is preferred.

• 9 months of acute care experience with 9 months within the last 12 months.

• Trauma Level 5 experience is preferred.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Kansas license or compact license (required for submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.

• No current placement allowed at Program: HealthTrust Program - HCA - MidAmerica Division.

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience: Basic dysrhythmias.

Unit Details: Typical procedures include PIV insertion/management/removal, central line management/removal, foley insertion/management/removal, NGs insertion/management/removal, drain management/removal, wound care and ostomy management, continuous bladder irrigation, chest tube management, and EKG. Uses Alaris IV pumps, Hoyer, Sarah Steady, feeding pumps, Welch Allyn vital sign machines, iMobile, and Vein Finder. Virtual Admission RN available 10a-10pm.

Shift & Scheduling: 4 weekend shifts (Fri, Sat, or Sun) in a 4 week period. Flexible contract hours: 48 per week preferred.
