About the Role:

As a Line Cook in the accommodation and food services industry, you will play a critical role in preparing and cooking high-quality meals that meet our establishment's standards and delight our guests. You will be responsible for efficiently managing your assigned station, ensuring all dishes are prepared accurately and presented attractively within a fast-paced kitchen environment. This role requires close collaboration with other kitchen staff to maintain smooth operations and uphold food safety and sanitation standards. Your work will directly impact customer satisfaction and the overall reputation of our dining services. Ultimately, your dedication and culinary skills will contribute to creating memorable dining experiences that encourage repeat business and positive reviews.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience working as a line cook or in a similar kitchen role.
• Basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Culinary school certification or formal culinary training.
• Experience with various cooking techniques and cuisines.
• Knowledge of inventory management and kitchen equipment operation.
• Food Handler’s Permit or ServSafe certification.
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and cook menu items according to standardized recipes and presentation guidelines.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workstation throughout the shift.
• Ensure all food is stored, handled, and cooked in compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Collaborate with kitchen team members to coordinate meal preparation and timely service.
• Monitor inventory levels and communicate supply needs to the kitchen manager.
• Assist in receiving and storing deliveries, checking for quality and freshness.
• Adapt to menu changes and special dietary requests with flexibility and attention to detail.
