Title: Accounting Assistant


Adecco is currently assisting a local client seeking an experienced Accounting Assistant job in Casper, Wyoming for a Temporary to Hire opportunity. As an Accounting Assistant you will compute, classify, and record numerical data to keep office financial records complete. You may also perform any combination of routine calculating, posting, and verifying primary financial data for use in maintaining accounting records. Accounting Assistant will also check the accuracy of figures, calculations, and postings pertaining to business transactions recorded by other associates. Responsibilities for this Accounting Assistant job include:

• Operate computers programmed with accounting software to record, store, and analyze information
• Check figures, postings, and documents for correct entry, mathematical accuracy, and proper codes
• Classify, record, and summarize numerical and financial data to compile and keep financial records, using journals and ledgers or computers
• Debit, credit, and total accounts on computer spreadsheets and databases, using specialized accounting software
• Operate 10-key calculators, and copy machines to perform calculations and produce documents
• Accounts Receivable Assistance-generate and send customer invoices.
• General Ledger Support-Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures including journal entries, reconciliations and other necessary schedules.
• Administrative Support -Assist with filing, data entry, and other tasks as needed.

Qualifications:


Degree in Accounting, 2 to 5 years of experience in AR, GL, proficient spreadsheets and word processing software. Integrated ERP software knowledge is helpful.


Pay for these positions $22-25/hour DOE and is a temporary to hire job opportunity, Monday-Friday 8am-5pm.

Pay Details: $22.00 to $25.00 per hour
