Bullpen is partnered with a vertically integrated real estate investment, development, and operating platform seeking a Acquisitions Associate to support an active disposition pipeline across its Bay Area portfolio.

This individual will join the investment team during a high-volume transaction period and play a key role in the execution of multiple asset sales expected to close before year-end. The role offers direct exposure to acquisitions, dispositions, asset management, and capital markets activities while working alongside senior leadership in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment.

The ideal candidate has experience supporting real estate transactions from underwriting through closing and is comfortable managing diligence, coordinating with third-party stakeholders, and helping drive deals to successful execution.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the disposition process across multiple multifamily and student housing assets
• Coordinate transaction activities from broker engagement through closing
• Maintain and organize transaction data rooms, diligence materials, and buyer requests
• Analyze operating statements, rent rolls, leases, and property-level financials
• Assist with financial modeling, valuation analysis, and investment memorandums
• Coordinate with brokers, attorneys, consultants, lenders, title companies, and buyers throughout the transaction process
• Track transaction milestones, diligence deadlines, and closing deliverables
• Prepare internal reporting and transaction updates for senior leadership
• Support asset management and acquisitions initiatives as needed

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Finance, Business, Economics, or related field
• 2–5 years of experience in acquisitions, dispositions, investments, capital markets, asset management, investment sales, or commercial real estate finance
• Strong financial modeling and analytical skills
• Advanced proficiency in Excel
• Experience reviewing property-level financial statements, leases, and diligence materials
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple active transactions simultaneously
• Excellent communication and project management abilities
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment

Preferred Experience

• Multifamily or student housing experience
• Exposure to institutional real estate investors or private equity firms
• ARGUS experience
• Investment sales or brokerage transaction experience
• Experience managing transaction data rooms and diligence workflows
