Operating Room Registered Nurse

We are seeking an Operating Room Registered Nurse to join our team. The nurse will be responsible for providing patient care in the operating room environment. Daily caseload includes an average of 25 OR cases. Nurses will be expected to participate in call rotations, which may include up to 12 hours per week during weekdays and additional hours on weekends. Holiday call is also required as scheduled. Experience with the following procedures is essential: appendectomy, arthroscopy, cholecystectomy, colon resection, hernia repair, thyroidectomy, and total joint replacements. The nurse will be involved in infection control measures and universal protocol compliance. Collaboration with interdisciplinary teams is expected to ensure high-quality patient care. Candidates must provide two supervisory references supporting their experience. Nurses must have completed at least one travel assignment to be considered for this position. No requested time off will be permitted during the first two weeks of the assignment. Candidates should be prepared to complete assigned compliance modules promptly.

Experience: Minimum of 2 years of General Surgery experience required. License: Must have valid nursing license. Certifications: BLS certification required. Must-Have: Previous charge experience preferred. Travel experience required.
