Description – Responsibilities Awaiting You

• Conduct routine and complex clinical laboratory examinations—spanning chemistry, hematology, immunology, and beyond—while adhering to established procedures.
• Evaluate test results for precision, troubleshoot discrepancies, and conduct routine maintenance and calibration on laboratory instruments.
• Assist in the collection of specimens and prepare samples for analysis, as required.
• Thoroughly document all laboratory procedures, provide training for new staff or students, and actively contribute to maintaining lab quality standards.
• Ensure a clean, safe working environment while complying with regulatory and accreditation mandates.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science or a comparable allied health degree with preparation for ASCP/AMT certification.

Certifications

• Achieve ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) within one year post-hire.
• Maintain current certification for the duration of employment.
