Key Qualifications & Experience:

• Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist
• Experience providing OT services in a school setting is highly preferred
• Solid understanding of IEPs and the special education process
• Ability to conduct thorough assessments and develop customized intervention plans
• Strong communication skills for collaborating with teachers, staff, and families
• Flexibility, creativity, and adaptability to the unique needs of each student

Role Responsibilities:

• Evaluate students’ motor, sensory, and adaptive needs within the educational environment
• Develop and implement individualized, evidence-based OT interventions
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate recommendations into classroom routines
• Participate in IEP meetings, share progress updates, and document services according to guidelines
• Provide consultative support and training to staff and parents
• Support students in developing skills for increased independence, participation, and success
