This office is the result of Savant's recent partnership with Professional Business Management (PBM), a respected firm founded in 1932 that built its reputation through exceptional client service, deep industry expertise, and long-standing relationships with healthcare professionals. As an Accounting Specialist, you'll become part of a team that helps private practice owners navigate the financial and operational demands of running successful businesses. You'll work directly with clients, support accounting and payroll functions, and play a meaningful role during an exciting period of growth and transition as the Barrington team becomes part of the broader Savant family.This is an opportunity for someone who enjoys building relationships, solving problems, staying organized, and being part of a team that believes great client service starts with great people.In this role, you can expect to focus in the following areas:Accounting & Client SupportPrepare bank reconciliations and monthly journal entriesGenerate monthly financial statementsCommunicate directly with clients regarding accounting questions and information needPrepare sales tax returns and support bookkeeping activitieProcess accounting functions through QuickBooks Online and other accounting softwareMaintain accurate financial records and documentationPayroll ServicesProcess client payrolls and payroll tax reportingSupport payroll deposits, annual reporting, and compliance activitiesAssist clients with payroll-related questions and best practicesTeam & Tax Season SupportAssist with tax-related data gathering and organizationSupport colleagues across accounting, payroll, and tax functionsHelp ensure client deadlines are met with accuracy and professionalismA couple things to note about our Accounting Specialist position:Location: 1300 S Grove Ave, Suite 201, Barrington, IL 60010Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PMGrowth & Transition Opportunity: This office recently joined Savant through the acquisition of Professional Business Management, a trusted firm that has served healthcare practices for over 90 years. The expected base hourly range for this role is $26.00 - $36.00. Actual compensation is determined on an individual basis and considers factors such as relevant experience, skills, qualifications, geographic location, and market conditions.
