We are hiring a Lead Physician to help establish our clinical presence locally, partnering closely with nurse practitioners, shaping care delivery, and building trusted relationships across the community. The Opportunity As the Lead Physician, you’ll provide direct patient care while serving as the clinical leader who helps shape how care is delivered in the St. Louis region. You’ll work alongside a dedicated team of nurse practitioners and operational partners to establish strong clinical standards, build a thoughtful team culture, and ensure patients receive the kind of high‑touch, relationship‑based care Bloom is known for. How You’ll Make an Impact Clinical care & quality Deliver primary care to seniors in their homes and community settings (Assisted/Independent Livings). Set a high bar for evidence‑based, coordinated care with a strong patient experience. Support clinical consistency through documentation standards and practical workflows. Clinical leadership Serve as the local clinical leader for the market—partnering with operations to establish a strong launch. Mentor/coach nurse practitioners and help build a cohesive, high‑performing provider culture.Help integrate new providers and maintain clinical consistency as the team expands. Community relationships Build trusted relationships with local partners (facilities, specialists, home health, community resources). Serve as a trusted clinical leader for Bloom—modeling a calm, collaborative presence with internal teams and community partners. Qualifications MD/DO with board certification in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, Geriatrics, Hospice, Palliative, or related primary care specialty. Eligible for licensure in Missouri and able to practice in the St. Louis region. Comfort working with medically complex older adults (multi‑morbidity, polypharmacy, care coordination). A steady leadership style: approachable, accountable, and team‑centered. Bonus (not required): home‑based primary care, geriatrics, value‑based care exposure, or experience mentoring APPs.
