Job Description
We are seeking a mechanically inclined Mechanical Assembler who enjoys working with large industrial equipment, interpreting engineering drawings, and performing detailed mechanical assemblies. This position is well suited to individuals with experience in manufacturing, equipment building, machine assembly, industrial maintenance, aerospace, defense, automotive, or heavy industrial environments, and who take pride in producing high-quality, precision-built systems.
Essential Skills

• Minimum of 2+ years of experience in mechanical assembly, equipment assembly, machine building, industrial maintenance, manufacturing, or a closely related field.
• Proven ability to read and interpret blueprints, mechanical drawings, assembly schematics, and written assembly instructions.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with hands-on experience using hand tools, power tools, torque wrenches, drills, taps, and measuring instruments.
• Experience assembling large mechanical systems, industrial equipment, machinery, or fabricated metal products.
• Comfort working with heavy components and equipment that require cranes, hoists, or other lifting devices for positioning.
• Ability to perform repetitive assembly work while maintaining consistent attention to detail and a strong focus on quality.
• Solid problem-solving skills and a demonstrated commitment to high-quality workmanship.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work safely around large industrial equipment.
• Competence in using hand and power tools, including wrenches, pneumatic tools, and screwdrivers.
• Ability to use tape measures and other measuring tools accurately for mechanical assembly and inspection.
• Capability to identify and report quality issues and non-conformances during the assembly process.

Job Type & Location
This is a Permanent position based out of FAIRFIELD, NJ.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $45760.00 - $52000.00/yr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
