The Department of Surgery at the University of South Florida, Morsani College of Medicine is seeking an academic Open Rank - Surgical Oncology/HPB Faculty to join the Division of Oncology Surgery. The University of South Florida, Department of Surgery invites applications for a mid-career Academic Surgical Oncologist with expertise in HBP surgery and strong interest in advancing our robotic HBP program. Tampa General Hospital has established substantial investment at the Cancer Institute as well as in advanced Minimally Invasive Surgery. Candidates should be Board Certified in General Surgery and fellowship trained in Complex Surgical Oncology or HBP Surgery. Demonstrated expertise in HBP surgery and strong interest in robotic surgery is highly preferred. Applicants with a record in academic scholarship are encouraged to apply. Associate Professor and Professor level candidates are welcomed, although exceptional Assistant Professor candidates will also be considered. Faculty appointment at USF Morsani School of Medicine with Academic Rank commensurate with experience.MINIMUM: Doctoral or Medical degree from an accredited institution or the highest degree appropriate in the field of specialization with a demonstrated record of achievement in teaching, academic research, and service. Must meet university criteria for appointment to the rank of Assistant Professor. Candidates should be Board Certified in General Surgery and fellowship trained in Complex Surgical Oncology or HBP Surgery.
