CNC Machinist

Texwrap located in Washington, MO is seeking a Machinist to set up and safely operate a CNC Machine Center to fabricate quality parts per customer specifications. Responsibilities Set up machine with proper tooling Run/adjust programs as necessary to produce quality parts Verify that parts are machined correctly to the print Use measuring devices (tape measure, calipers, etc.) Read and interpret blueprints, including material gauge and tolerances Review and follow any specific instructions on job orders Perform first/last article quality checks, routing per guidelines and check for burrs Ensure all jobs are recorded within MRP system and quantities are accurately counted Place parts neatly with job orders and deliver to next work center Perform general maintenance of machines Keep work area clean and orderly Follow all safety policies within work center Work to achieve routing times and report major discrepancies to supervisor Perform additional duties and assignments Qualifications High school diploma 2 years technical training 3-5 years of experience Detail and quality oriented Good attendance Ability to follow written and verbal instructions Professional communication, attitude and image May require lifting of parts and/or equipment up to 50 pounds Benefits Salary is only a part of a well-developed compensation program.
