F&B Manager

The F&B Manager is responsible for coordinating, supervising, and directing all property food and beverage operations, while maintaining a profitable F&B department and high-quality products and service levels. In addition, to market ideas to promote business; reduce employee turnover; maintain revenue and payroll budgets, and meet budgeted productivity while keeping quality consistently high. Essential: Supervise all F&B personnel. Respond to guest complaints in a timely manner. Prepare the F&B budget and monitor department performance with respect to the same. Perform any necessary follow-up, including forecasting. Monitor industry trends, and take appropriate action to maintain competitive and profitable operations. Oversees the ordering of F&B supplies, cleaning supplies and uniforms. Supervises daily F&B shift operation and ensures compliance with all F&B policies, standards and procedures. Supervises staffing levels to ensure that guest service, operational needs, and financial objective are met. Coordinates cleaning program in all F&B areas (including General clean), identifying trends and making recommendation for improvements. Provides services that are above and beyond for customer satisfaction and retention. Manages day-to-day operations, ensuring the quality, standards and meeting the expectations of the customers on a daily basis. Reviews comment cards and guest satisfaction results with employees. Extends professionalism and courtesy to team members at all times. Comprehends budgets, operating statements and payroll progress report. Monitor quality of service and product. Coordinate menu planning and preparation. Ensure timely purchase of F&B items, within budget allocation. Ensure compliance with all local liquor laws, and health and sanitation regulations. Education & Experience: High school diploma or GED; 3 years experience in the food and beverage, culinary, or related professional area OR 2-year degree from an accredited university in Food Service Management, Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or related major; 1 year experience in the food and beverage, culinary, or related professional area. Must be proficient in Windows, Company approved spreadsheets, and word processing. Must have knowledge of F&B preparation techniques, health department rules, and regulations, liquor laws, and regulations.
