Job Summary Performs diagnostic radiology procedures using appropriate equipment and safety protocols to assist in disease diagnosis and treatment. Responsibilities Operates radiology equipment as instructed by a licensed physician. Selects and adjusts technical settings for each patient based on judgment. Develops and implements procedure and treatment plans following established protocols. Maintains documentation to ensure compliance with policies. Ensures cleanliness and safety of equipment, rooms, and work areas. Participates in performance improvement activities and collects quality data. Completes assigned tasks and performs additional duties as needed. Qualifications & Skills Completion of a recognized radiology technology program and registration with ARRT(R). A new graduate awaiting certification is acceptable. Possesses a thorough understanding of radiologic principles and techniques. Ability to follow instructions, plan, and organize work effectively.
