Job Description: REDUCED BR APPLIES TO LOCAL CANDIDATES. JOB REQUIREMENTS: Experience: 2 years of certified MA experience in an outpatient clinic setting, MEDICAL ASSISTANT DIPLOMA FROM A DAPIP ACCREDITED PROGRAM. National certs not accepted. Certs: BLS (AHA or ARC only), Education: HS/GED. Special Requirements: Proficiency with blood/lab draws and venipuncture.
Job Details: Shift: 8 hours between 0800-2000 with occasional weekend (1 per month). Weekend REQ: 1 per month. NO SCHEDULING REQUESTS CAN BE ACCOMMODATED.
Unit Details: Staffing & Scheduling: Scheduling Type: -, Patient Ratios: -, Float Required: all clinics as needed, Call Required: -. Patient Age Groups: Adults, Geriatrics. Special Procedures/Unit Details: rooming patients, vitals, updating patient records, providing vaccinations, blood draws, patient education, after visit summaries.
Compliance: Modules are billable, max billable hours: Non-Clinical traveler: 8 hours, Clinical/Allied traveler: 10 hours, Lead/Supervisor traveler: 10 hours. Modules are completed pre-start, and vary by specialty. Modules are recorded via transcripts.
