Hospital Phlebotomist - 1st Shift

Job Overview Labcorp is hiring a Phlebotomist to work in Bartlesville, OK. The work schedule is a 3‑day X 12‑hour shift (workdays will vary) from 6:00 AM to 6:30 PM, with rotating weekends and holidays. The position requires occasional travel to additional sites. Responsibilities Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups. Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc. Enter patient data accurately and timely. Process billing information and collect payments when required. Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis. Maintain patient and specimen information logs. Provide superior customer service to all patients. Perform administrative and clerical duties as necessary. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Phlebotomy certification, completion of a training program, or at least 1 year of phlebotomy experience. Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently or as part of a team. Comfortable working with minimal supervision. Reliable transportation and clean driving record if applicable. Flexibility to work overtime and pass a standardized color blindness test.
