HVAC Service Technician Thermal Solutions | Youngsville, NC $25–$32+ per hour Take-home truck | Consistent 40 hours | Paid training About the Role Thermal Solutions is looking for an experienced HVAC Service Technician who can run residential service calls independently and take pride in doing the job correctly. We are a quality-first company focused on strong workmanship, customer experience, and organized processes. We are not a high-pressure sales company. The focus is proper diagnostics, quality repairs, and taking care of customers the right way. This position is primarily residential service and maintenance with occasional support on projects or installs during slower periods. What You’ll Be Doing Run residential service and maintenance calls independently Diagnose electrical, airflow, and refrigerant-related issues Perform system testing including voltage, amp draw, superheat, and subcooling Complete repairs correctly and verify system operation before leaving Communicate findings and repair recommendations clearly with homeowners Document work and follow company processes using Housecall Pro Maintain a clean and organized company vehicle Support install or project work as needed during slower seasons What We’re Looking For 3+ years of residential HVAC service experience Ability to diagnose and repair systems without constant assistance Strong troubleshooting skills across electrical and refrigerant systems Professional communication and customer service skills Team-first attitude and willingness to follow established processes Someone who takes pride in clean, quality work Requirements Valid driver’s license with clean driving record EPA Certification preferred (or willingness to obtain) Basic hand tools Ability to work independently and as part of a team Schedule Monday through Friday Typically 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM Consistent 40-hour work weeks Service area primarily within 30 miles of Youngsville Benefits 10 days PTO Paid major holidays $400/month health insurance stipend 401(k) with company match after 1 year Paid training and development Take-home company truck This Position Is NOT For Entry-level technicians with little field experience Techs who rely on guessing or trial-and-error repairs Individuals unwilling to follow process or work as part of a team Anyone looking for a high-pressure sales environment Hiring Timeline We are looking to move quickly once we find the right person. #J-18808-Ljbffr Thermal Solutions
