Technical Support Specialist
Our client, an innovative leader in the automotive industry, is seeking a dedicated Technical Support Specialist to join their dynamic team. As a Technical Support Specialist, you will be part of the Customer Support Department supporting the inter-departmental support area within a call center environment. The ideal candidate will demonstrate excellent troubleshooting skills, strong communication abilities, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.
Location: Fort Lauderdale, FL
Pay Range: $18.26
Shift: Training schedule will be for one month between 9:00am -6:00pm Mon-Fri. Production schedule will be 9:00am - 6:00pm Tue- Sat after training.
What's the Job?
- Respond to service requests, incidents, and reported issues within the set SLAs to ensure prompt resolution
- Field incoming requests made to the service desk via phone, email, and ticketing system, maintaining courteous and efficient communication
- Resolve routine technical problems and escalate complex issues to higher support tiers
- Work independently to troubleshoot and resolve incidents, escalating complaints to upper management when necessary
- Collaborate with team members to foster a friendly, helpful environment and contribute to continuous improvement
What's Needed?
- 2-4 years of experience working in a call center environment
- Excellent computer proficiency and familiarity with troubleshooting tools
- Ability to explain technical issues clearly to both technical and non-technical customers
- Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills related to technical issues
- Self-motivated, disciplined work ethic with the ability to work independently and collaboratively
