Responsibilities Three Trails Behavioral Hospital in the area of Independence, MO is actively hiring a patient centered PRN Registered Nurse (RN) to join our growing behavioral health team! This position provides an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of individuals experiencing mental health challenges in a safe, caring, and therapeutic environment. The Registered Nurse (RN) will:

• Conduct comprehensive nursing assessments and ongoing patient evaluations.
• Help develop, implement, and update individualized nursing care plans.
• Administer medications and monitor therapeutic response and side effects.
• Monitor patient safety and documentation.
• Educate families.

About Three Trails Behavioral Hospital:

Three Trails Behavioral Hospital will serve children and adolescents, adults, and seniors with innovative and evidence-based inpatient behavioral health-care focused on individual needs and comfort. The facility is expected to open in the second half of 2026 and will feature 120 licensed beds ready to meet the mental health needs of the surrounding community.

Qualifications:

• Registered Nurse (RN) licensure for the state of Missouri or Compact.
• Experience in behavioral health, assessments, crisis intervention, and admissions preferred.
• Strong assessment, critical thinking, and clinical decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Be able to work 12 hour shifts.
