The role is a full‑time Registered Nurse position in the Surgical PCU unit, responsible for post‑Cath procedural patients in a 20‑bed unit. The RN will assess diagnostic data, implement interventions, set and monitor care goals, and conduct follow‑up assessments. Location 2450 N Orange Blossom Trl, Kissimmee, Florida 34744 Unit Highlights New and growing unit, 20 beds, focus on post‑Cath procedural patients. Patient mix ranges from strokes to post‑procedure cases, COPD and CHF exacerbations. Acuity ranges from low to moderate. Responsibilities Assess and interpret diagnostic data, including lab results, non‑invasive monitoring data, and interdisciplinary team notes. Make appropriate decisions and implement interventions based on nursing diagnoses according to patients’ actual or potential health conditions or needs. Set measurable and achievable short‑ and long‑range goals for patients, developing and implementing individualized plans of care. Prioritize and complete follow‑up assessments, evaluating and modifying plans of care as needed. Complete timely assessments including physiological, psychological, developmental, sociocultural, spiritual, and lifestyle factors, including signs of abuse or neglect.
