Emergency Medicine Physician

Looking for a high-volume, full-time Emergency Medicine locum opportunity in one of the Pacific Northwest s most desirable cities? A Seattle emergency department is seeking two full-time Emergency Medicine physicians to provide immediate and ongoing coverage. This is an excellent opportunity for physicians seeking consistent work, flexible scheduling, and the ability to build a longer-term locum assignment through 2027.

• Location: Seattle, Washington
• Setting: Emergency Department
• Schedule: Full-time; approximately 15 shifts/month preferred
• Shift Options: AM, Mid, PM, with potential overnight shifts in 2027
• Patient Volume: Approximately 8 14 patients/day
• Patient Acuity: Medium to high acuity; primarily medical cases with low trauma
• EMR: Epic
• Support: Experienced RN staff and collaborative care teams
• Call: No traditional call; scheduled ED shifts
• Start: ASAP, upon credentialing
• Duration: Ongoing coverage through 2027

This is more than occasional locum coverage. The facility is looking for physicians who can provide consistent, full-time coverage , making it an ideal opportunity for a physician who wants predictable locum income without a permanent commitment. • ABEM or AOBEM Board Certified/Board Eligible
• Emergency Medicine residency/fellowship training required
• Minimum 2 years of Emergency Medicine experience
• Active Washington medical license required
• ACLS, BLS, PALS and DEA required
• Clean background and malpractice history
• Must be comfortable working varied shifts based on facility needs
• IMLC not accepted
