The Revenue Cycle Specialist is also responsible for ensuring accurate and timely application of payments and adjustments to patient accounts. The Revenue Cycle Specialist will have a strong understanding of revenue cycle processes and be adept at handling financial transactions and date with precision.Key ResponsibilitiesAccurately post payments and adjustments to patient accounts, including insurance payments, patient payments and contractual adjustmentsBill therapy visits timely and accuratelyEnsure all transactions are recorded in the electronic health record and billing systemsPerform reconciliation of payment batches and account balancesIdentify discrepancies between posted payments and expected amountsMaintain accurate and organized records and financial summariesProvide insights and updates on payment trends, discrepancies, and collections performance to the management teamMaintain accurate and organized records of payment postings and related documentationEnsure compliance with internal policies and external regulationsIdentify opportunities for process improvements in the payment posting workflowBenefitsBenefits are offered to full time employees who work 30 hours or more a week.
