We are looking for a Sr. Financial Analyst to join the team in Charlotte, North Carolina in a Contract position. This role is ideal for a finance specialist who can turn complex operational and financial data into clear insights that support business decisions. The right candidate will partner with program leaders and cross-functional teams, using strong analytical judgment, advanced Excel skills, and deep NetSuite expertise to strengthen reporting and performance visibility.

Responsibilities:
• Conduct financial reviews of individual programs and translate findings into practical recommendations for leadership.
• Build and refine ad hoc analyses, time studies, and performance assessments to support planning and decision-making.
• Use advanced NetSuite knowledge to extract data, improve reporting accuracy, and expand the finance team’s ability to analyze results efficiently.
• Develop financial models and variance analyses that highlight trends, risks, and opportunities across programs and operations.
• Partner directly with program managers and non-finance stakeholders to understand business activities and convert operational details into meaningful financial insights.
• Prepare data for downstream reporting needs, including analysis that supports Excel-based reporting and Power BI usage.
• Identify gaps in current financial data accessibility and recommend improvements that make information more usable for management.
• Work across finance and operational workflows to gather information from multiple sources, including environments with separate ticketing or support systems.• Demonstrated experience in FP& A and financial analysis within a fast-paced business environment.
• Strong background in financial modeling, variance analysis, and ad hoc analytical work.
• Expert-level proficiency in NetSuite, including the ability to navigate the system confidently and pull meaningful financial data.
• Advanced Excel skills with the ability to organize, analyze, and present large or complex datasets.
• Experience using data mining techniques to uncover trends and support better business decisions.
• Proven ability to communicate effectively with program leaders and colleagues outside of finance.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently on contract-based assignments.
