Registered Nurse (RN) - Dialysis

Hemodialysis Registered Nurse

Schedule: - 10 hr shifts - Days: 4x10 hr shifts - Shift time: 6am - 4:30pm - Weekends and holidays as needed

Assignment Details: - Contract Length: 13 weeks - Guaranteed Hours: 40

Requirements: - Minimum of 5 years of hemodialysis RN experience required - Acute hospital experience required - MA RN license - BLS and ACLS certification required - Tablo Hemodialysis System experience required - Ability to independently read telemetry strips - Must pass telemetry exam on Day 1, with a score of 84% or better

Roles & Responsibilities: - Provide care that addresses the specific needs of diverse age groups, from infants to the elderly. - Address individualized needs related to impairments including communication barriers and potential abuse situations. - Incorporate knowledge of patient rights and facility mission, vision, and values into nursing practice. - Utilize excellent assessment, clinical, and organizational skills in patient care. - Maintain proficiency in computer systems and charge capabilities. - Lift, transfer, and move patients as needed. - Communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing. - Complete mathematical computations necessary for treatment protocols.
