Position Summary

The Procurement Category Manager – Software is responsible for developing and executing sourcing strategies for assigned software categories. This role requires a results-driven professional with strong analytical capabilities, contract expertise, and the ability to influence stakeholders at multiple levels of the organization. Success requires balancing cost, risk, quality, and supplier innovation while aligning category strategy to enterprise objectives.

Compensation Range

$130,000 – $150,000 base salary, depending on experience and qualifications.

Requirements

Qualifications: 5+ years of experience in Procurement, Category Management, Logistics, Supply Chain, Technical Sales, or related field. Demonstrated expertise in strategic sourcing and contract negotiation. Strong analytical, financial, and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and presentation capabilities. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Experience collaborating with diverse stakeholders across organizational levels. Proficiency in procurement systems and sourcing tools.
