General Manager - Full Time

The General Manager will play a pivotal role in the success of our fine dining establishment in the heart of the Greater Northern Jersey area . We are looking for a dynamic leader with extensive wine knowledge and a passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and have a background in upscale dining or hospitality, we want to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all aspects of restaurant operations, ensuring the highest standards of service and quality.
- Manage staff recruitment, training, and performance, fostering a positive team environment.
- Monitor revenue and control costs of goods to maximize profitability.
- Utilize extensive wine knowledge to curate an exceptional beverage program.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with the culinary team to enhance menu offerings and dining experiences.
- Engage with guests to promote a welcoming atmosphere and handle any inquiries or concerns.
Requirements
- Proven experience in a general management role within a fine dining restaurant or similar environment.
- Extensive knowledge of wines and beverage pairings.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a diverse team.
- Bi-lingual in English and Spanish is preferred.
- Experience in hotel and elevated independent restaurant settings is a plus.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Schedule
