Per Diem Pharmacist - Fort Lauderdale, Florida

A vibrant opportunity exists for experienced pharmacists to join a per diem team serving a specialized and meaningful patient community in Fort Lauderdale, FL. This role focuses on providing dedicated pharmacy services to individuals affected by HIV/AIDS within a community health network and an affiliated pharmacy.


Key Responsibilities:

• Dispense medications with precision and care, focusing on HIV/AIDS treatments.
• Build trusting, empathetic relationships with patients, recognizing the sensitive nature of their healthcare needs.
• Collaborate effectively with healthcare providers to optimize patient care.
• Maintain proactive pharmacy practice by identifying and addressing operational needs.
• Utilize QS1 software proficiently for pharmacy operations.

Schedule:

• Monday through Thursday, 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM
• Friday, 8:30 AM - 12:30 PM
• No weekend shifts

Desired Experience and Qualifications:

• 1-2 years of retail or specialty pharmacy experience, specifically with HIV/AIDS medication dispensing.
• Demonstrated sensitivity and respect toward the HIV/AIDS patient population.
• Strong communication skills oriented toward teamwork and patient-provider coordination.
• Punctuality and a commitment to dependable coverage.
• Ability to work proactively and maintain a positive, solution-focused attitude.
• Familiarity and proficiency with QS1 pharmacy software.
• Active Florida pharmacist license.
• Resume clearly outlining HIV/AIDS-related experience.
