Physical Therapist - Rehabilitation and Acute Care

Schedule

This is a full-time position with a schedule from Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM.

Job Description

The Physical Therapist will evaluate and re-evaluate assigned patients in both outpatient and inpatient settings within the rehabilitation and acute rehab departments. This role is essential for planning and implementing effective therapeutic programs prescribed by ordering physicians, ensuring continuity of care for all patients.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and re-evaluate patient conditions and progress regularly.
• Develop and implement ongoing therapeutic physical therapy programs as prescribed.
• Independently manage a full caseload and update treatment plans as necessary.
• Conduct home exercise program instructions and necessary re-evaluations based on insurance authorizations.
• Adapt to work requirements during Hawaii State and Federal Holidays as needed.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience working with adults in outpatient and acute care settings.
• Current State of Hawaii Physical Therapist License is required by the start of the assignment.
• BLS certification from the American Red Cross is required.
