Excel Specialist for AI Model Training [Remote]

Role Overview

Apply your Excel and Office document expertise to help improve how AI systems create, interpret, and revise complex Office Open XML files, including .xlsx, .docx, and .pptx documents. You will contribute real-world business knowledge and detailed evaluations that help improve model quality, reasoning, accuracy, and business relevance. Prior AI experience is not required.

Key Responsibilities

Design realistic, challenging business scenarios that require advanced use of Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
Conduct structured, multi-turn interactions with an AI model using complex document-focused prompts.
Create and review .xlsx, .docx, and .pptx documents, then assess two AI-generated solutions against professional standards and select the stronger result.
Provide detailed side-by-side feedback on document quality, accuracy, and business applicability.
Bring domain knowledge from varied industries and business functions to support diverse real-world use cases.
Communicate feedback clearly in writing and verbally so it is actionable for the AI training team.

Qualifications

At least 3 years of professional experience in Fortune 500 environments using Excel, PowerPoint, and Word on high-impact business projects.
Expertise creating complex models, reports, analyses, and presentations.
Experience in industries such as finance, healthcare, technology, consulting, or retail.
Background in roles such as private equity associate, investment banking analyst, junior consultant, FP&A analyst, HR professional, or marketing strategist, including hands-on deal or project work.
Ability to design use cases for strategy, operations, sales, marketing, finance, or HR.
Strong Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Office Open XML, business analysis, document review, scenario design, analytical thinking, written communication, and verbal communication skills.
Excellent attention to detail and the ability to evaluate nuanced differences in document quality and business relevance.
Experience working with LLMs or writing long-form prompts for AI tools is a strong plus.

Work Terms

Remote independent contractor engagement.

Compensation
