Attends to direct and indirect patient care needs to ensure successful completion of their imaging procedures. Responsibilities Performs a variety of diagnostic CT Scan procedures Obtains all required documentation/supplies. Assures correct patient information on requests, reports and PAC's. Organizes work area and maintains supplies. Qualifications Education Required: Graduate of Allied Health Program Experience Six months experience in trauma, stroke, pediatrics and invasive procedures. May include student clinical rotation completed at St. Mary's or like facility. License Radiography (ARRT) Certified Radiological Technologist . CT certificate required within 12 months of hire. Certifications BLS/CPR (AMERICAN HEART ASSN) Organization Description St. Marys Medical Center (SMMC), part of the Palm Beach Health Network, is a 420-bed acute care hospital in West Palm Beach. The hospital has been serving Palm Beach County and the Treasure Coast for more than 80 years. SMMC is a Level 1 Trauma Center, a state-designated Pediatric Trauma Referral Center, certified Comprehensive Stoke Center, and has a level III NICU. Pediatric services are provided at the Palm Beach Childrens Hospital at St. Marys Medical Center, which is the only dedicated childrens hospital between Ft. Lauderdale and Orlando.
