Job Summary

We are looking for reliable and hardworking laborers to assist with metal fencing installation projects. The laborer will support the fencing crew with material handling, site preparation, fence installation, and cleanup while maintaining a safe and productive work environment.

 

Duties and Responsibilities

• Assist with installation of metal fences, gates, and posts
• Carry, load, and unload fencing materials and tools
• Dig holes and prepare fence lines for installation
• Set fence posts using concrete and alignment tools
• Help measure, cut, and secure metal fencing panels and rails
• Operate hand tools and power tools safely
• Maintain clean and organized job sites
• Follow supervisor directions and safety procedures
• Assist with demolition and removal of old fencing when needed

 

Requirements

• Ability to perform heavy physical labor outdoors
• Must be able to lift 50+ pounds regularly
• Experience in construction or fencing preferred but not required
• Ability to work with hand tools, power tools, and measuring equipment
• Reliable transportation and strong attendance
• Ability to work as part of a team

 

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience installing chain-link, ornamental, or security metal fencing
• Knowledge of construction safety practices
• Ability to read measurements and basic layouts

 

Work Conditions

• Outdoor work in various weather conditions
• Standing, bending, lifting, and digging for extended periods
