Experienced Csr Needed At Renton Veterinary HospitalThe Client Service Representative (CSR) is a vital member of our veterinary team and the first and last point of contact for our clients. This role requires prior veterinary receptionist experience and a candidate who is ready to quickly learn our workflow, software (AVImark), and protocols to support a high-performing and fast-paced team.Due to current staffing needs, we are only considering applicants with prior experience in a veterinary front desk or client service role. If you're an experienced veterinary receptionist looking for a place where your voice matters, your skills are valued, and your growth is supported, we'd love to meet you.Key Responsibilities:Warmly greet clients and patients, assisting with check-in and check-out proceduresManage a multi-line phone system: answering calls, scheduling appointments, and directing inquiries appropriatelyProvide accurate cost estimates and handle client check-ins/check-outs, invoices, estimates, and payments in accordance with hospital protocolsMaintain accurate and detailed client/patient records using AVImark (or other veterinary practice software)Communicate clearly with clients regarding services, medications, and follow-up careCoordinate prescription refill pickups and contact clients when medications are readyEnsure cleanliness, safety, and organization of the lobby and front desk areaSupport technicians and assistants with callbacks and workflow communicationCollaborate with the team to ensure exceptional patient and client careWork Schedule:Regular workweek: Monday through Thursday, 8:00 AM – 6:00 PMOccasional Friday availability may be requested based on clinic expansion or coverage needsPaid rest and meal breaks provided in accordance with WA state labor lawsWe are looking to fill this position immediatelyMinimum Qualifications:High school diploma or equivalent requiredMinimum of 1+ year of experience as a veterinary receptionist or CSR in an animal hospitalExcellent verbal and written communication skillsStrong phone etiquette, customer service, and multitasking skillsComfortable using phone systems, email, and computer-based scheduling softwareAbility to multitask, maintain accuracy, and work both independently and as part of a teamMust be able to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods, and lift up to 35 lbs with or without accommodationActive WA State Medical Clerk License OR ability to obtain a WA Medical Clerk License within 30 days of employment.Ability to quickly learn and adapt to AVImark software and to clinic protocolsGrowth Opportunities:We believe in internal growth and cross-training.
