Registered Nurse (RN) Clinic Manager or Clinic Manager (non-RN) | InfectiousDisease Clinic

Overview Responsible for all aspects of the day-to-day operations of the clinic, including nursing, business office, and medical staff relations. Responsibilities Manages, supervises, and coordinates day-to-day operations of the clinic, including financial management, operating budget maintenance, expense management, staffing, and services offered. Collects data, prepares reports, analyzes statistics, and answers correspondence. Identifies and reviews operational problems and resolves them or brings them to leadership. Assists leadership with the preparation, implementation, and monitoring of budgets and business plans. Recommends clinic facility improvements, including construction, renovation, and purchase of equipment. Ensures clinic compliance with all regulatory agencies governing health care delivery and the rules of accrediting bodies. Maintains open, professional communication with providers and involves them in issues affecting the clinic as appropriate. Coordinates with leadership to monitor medical activities, ensuring cost‑effective and high‑quality care for patients. Ensures proper credentialing and licensure are maintained. Administers staffing plan to support efficient clinic operations. Resolves medical‑administrative problems and maintains communication to ensure high employee morale and a professional clinic atmosphere. Maintains professional affiliations and enhances development to stay current with healthcare trends. Interviews, hires, develops, trains, and retains employees; plans, assigns, and leads work; appraises performance; rewards and coaches employees; addresses complaints and resolves problems. Qualifications Must be able to work the hours specified. Must be able to perform each essential job function satisfactorily, including adequate visual acuity, communication skills, hearing, and understanding of speech and other sounds. Bachelor's degree from a four‑year college or university or equivalent combination of education and experience. 1–3 years related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination.
