Registered Nurse (RN)

Avera Health, a regional health system based in Sioux Falls, SD, is seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Healthcare & Medical Services team. In this role, you will provide patient-centered nursing care across a variety of clinical settings, including hospital and clinic environments, ensuring the highest standards of safety, quality, and compassion. You will be responsible for assessing patient needs, developing and implementing individualized care plans, administering medications and treatments, monitoring patient progress, and collaborating closely with physicians, advanced practice providers, therapists, and other members of the interdisciplinary care team. You will educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatment options, medications, and ongoing self‑care to support optimal health outcomes and safe transitions of care. As an RN at Avera Health, you will document all aspects of care accurately and timely in the electronic health record, follow evidence-based practice guidelines, and adhere to all regulatory and organizational policies. You will participate in care coordination, discharge planning, and patient advocacy to ensure that each patient receives respectful, dignified, and holistic care.
