Junior AI Engineer

Our client, a fast-growing fintech platform in the alternative investments space, is adding an AI Engineer to its AI/ML team. You’ll work alongside senior AI and ML engineers to build production AI systems that solve real business problems, not just demos.
This is a great fit for an engineer early in their career who likes taking a fuzzy problem, turning it into a working system, and then proving it works with real metrics.
What You’ll Do
- Build AI capabilities like LLM-based reasoning, document intelligence (OCR/IDP), knowledge systems, and agentic workflows
- Deliver them as APIs and services used across internal and external workflows
- Own pieces of the full lifecycle, from scoping and POC through deployment, monitoring, and improvement
- Build evaluation pipelines with clear metrics, benchmark datasets, and solid dataset and model versioning
- Document your work and communicate results clearly to the team
Required Qualifications
- 2–3 years of hands-on experience building production AI/ML systems
- Python skills
- Experience with AWS or another cloud platform for AI/ML workloads
- Experience with MCP or other agentic communication protocols (A2A, etc.)
- Comfortable with source control
