Position Overview

Tennyson Healthcare Services is seeking compassionate, reliable, and patient Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to support individuals with developmental disabilities in Springfield, Tipp City, Kettering, and Dayton .
DSPs play a vital role in helping individuals live safe, meaningful, and independent lives through daily support, encouragement, and community engagement.

Key Responsibilities

Provide respectful, person‐centered support in home and community settings
Assist with daily living tasks, meal preparation, and light housekeeping
Support individuals during community outings, appointments, and activities
Encourage independence, skill‐building, and personal growth
Maintain a safe, clean, and supportive environment
Document services accurately and on time
Follow all care plans, safety procedures, and DODD guidelines

Requirements

Must be 18 years or older
Valid driver’s license & reliable transportation
Ability to pass BCI/FBI background checks
Completion of DODD 3.5‐hour New DSP Training (provided)
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
Consistent attendance and communication
