Opportunity Overview

We have an immediate opening for an Medical Assistant/Patient Service Coordinator to join our team at Shady Grove Fertility in Katy, Texas and float to our Clear Lake, Texas office .

• Schedule: Monday through Friday, from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM; rotating weekend and holidays.

In this role, the Medical Assistant/Patient Service Coordinator will:

• Perform a high volume of phlebotomy
• Maintain supplies for the blood drawing stations
• Ensure lab specimens are sent to proper labs
• Document patient care services utilizing daily logs and patient records
• Utilize the computer in entering labs and printing labels
• Assist physician or ultrasound technician with various procedure
• Assist with HSGs as needed
• Take vital signs and provide general clinical assistance
• Assists with the clinical care of fertility patients
• Provides patient/couple counseling, procedure teaching, communicates physician orders and instructions
• Provides pre and post op education
• Establishes a compassionate environment by providing emotional and psychological support to patients and patients’ families
• Works independently to assure the program goals are achieved
• Support and promote excellence in customer service
• Administrative tasks, prior authorizations, etc.

What You’ll Bring

Qualifications and Skills Include:

• Strong phlebotomy skills
• Completion of a formal MA program
• Background in women's health preferred
• Strong patient orientation and be a team player
• Professionalism and strong customer service skills is a must
